The Benefits of Being a CNA

Most of the individuals that have found themselves becoming interested in a health care industry profession will do research on the various certified nursing assistant (CNA) programs offered in their local area. CNAs are generally the first line of contact between patients and the hospital/health care facility staff, and are working under the supervision of the nurse to provide adequate patient care and give the nurse vital information regarding the patient's condition.

cna

Most of a CNA's tasks are related to hygiene and personal care for the patient, including giving hem baths, grooming patients, helping them with feeding, assistance in going to the restroom, keeping abreast of their vital signs and health condition, patient transport via wheelchairs and gurneys, and keeping a written record of all relevant patient information. Emotionally, the CNA will be responsible for interacting with the patient and providing support professionally and socially during the patient's stay in the health care organization.

CNA

It's not uncommon for the majority of CNAs to see the job as a temporary placeholder to a future career goal as a registered nurse (RN), and their time as a CNA can open several doors. Many hospitals who mark a impressive trait in their CNAs will sponsor their educational efforts in becoming an RN, and the CNA role is a vital element of hands-on experience in the work field towards the successful completion of major nursing programs.

One of the biggest draws towards a CNA career is the fact that the profession doesn't require any prerequisites to enter (aside from a predisposition towards helping patients during their stay in a health care organization) as long as they carry a high school diploma or GED. Most CNA training programs are offered at various health care organizations, and local community colleges, and are completed after a college semester (or in most cases weeks before a full semester's term is over). Covering studies in anatomy and physiology, the nursing basics, control of infectious diseases, and nutritional courses the CNA student will obtain a certificate upon passing the final exam, and can then register as a certified CNA with the NAHC (National Association for Home Care)

CNAs make anywhere from ,000 and ,000 in yearly salaries when first starting out. As their experience and skill sets grow, and depending on the health care organization they work in, the salaries will grow from there. With job opportunities in hospitals, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, private home patient care environments, and mental health care institutions the CNA is in high demand with a variety of locations. It's a great way to get one's foot in the door of the consistently growing health care industry, and is one of the few jobs today expected to increase in demand significantly over the next decade.

CNA Study Guide - Organize and Reduce Test Stress

There is a common thread that links all CNAs - stress about taking our certification exams! Training to become a CNA is effort enough - 6 weeks of training, clinicals, tests and quizzes - it's a big accomplishment. We all exhale a sigh of relief when it's over only to realize all too soon that there is a looming and eminent date in our future - the CNA TEST. The weight that was lifted on the last day of class creeps back on pound for pound and then some.

cna

Everyone is going to have a different outlook when they are preparing for the CNA test. Person A will organize their study time, collect study tools, and systematically chip away at the volume of knowledge they need to memorize. I'm sure that I don't have to tell you that these are the people that suffer the least from test stress for the CNA test AND the preform the best when taking the test. Meanwhile, others will study less or cram a few days before. They will most likely struggle on the test and may have to retake a portion of it. Others think they studied correctly, however, they studied the wrong information or didn't pay enough attention to the basics and the failed.

CNA

The key to taking the CNA test is to have a plan!

Don't leave your exam success to fate. Prepare your study schedule and stick to it. Tip: Pretend your exam is three days before it's scheduled - that way the bulk of your work is done and all you will have to do is review. Gather your textbook, class notes, YouTube videos, practice tests, study guide and flashcards and prepare a system that you can stick to. Start with definitions and med terms and work up to more complicated information. When you are practicing your skills grab your spouse, friend, kid or if they aren't around use a stuffed animal. Create flash cards, print them off and take them where ever you go. You'll be surprised how much downtime you have during your day while you're out and about.

The internet is a great resource for test tips so visit forums and your favorite nursing website and look around. Search for test tips or ask for guidance. The nursing community is so welcoming that you'll have responses before you know it. Most of them telling you not to stress!

Now this might sound like a broken record to some but it worth repeating. Get a good night sleep the night before your test. Eat a healthy meal, aka brain food, that you know won't upset your system - there is nothing worse than tossing and turning from a stomach ache. (Keep in mind what stress does to our insides!) Be prepared for your test day with pencils and supplies, your outfit. Have everything cleaned and ready to go, have a light but satisfying breakfast. Arrive early! Tardiness will compensate your composure and focus. Go to the bathroom - nerves make you pee - no distractions! Relax, take your time, and do your best!

Divination Classes Can Help You Unlock Your Spiritual Powers

When looking to increase your clairvoyant abilities and the power of divination you have probably read a great deal on the subject. You know that the most important thing that you can do is develop the ability to meditate and relax the physical body. Once these skills are developed to a level which seems impossible to move beyond it may be time for some guidance. There are a number of divination classes available that can help on the journey towards spiritual enlightenment and increased clairvoyant powers. These divination classes come in many different forms, from the traditional college-style course to an at-home, distance learning course, to even simple books which can be read on the subject. Any of these divination courses can be beneficial to you if you try them.

People who have reached the highest level of enlightenment most often teach divination classes. They have developed techniques that can be shown to help you move along your own progress. It is perfectly appropriate to seek out the knowledge and skills that these experts have in this field. These in-person classes are rare, and it can be difficult to spot a fake or a charlatan who is out only for the money, but they are also the best kinds of courses if you've already read all the books and taken some distance learning divination classes.

CNA CLASSES

Divination and clairvoyance are difficult skills to master. Most people feel that students can only learn so much on their own and the guidance of an expert can show them exactly where they may be going wrong on their quest. Divination experts can also better analyze skill levels and make suggestions to further improvement.

When practicing meditation techniques it is sometimes difficult to tell if you are in the proper form or using a good technique. This is where an expert can help. They can give first hand advice on how to meditate in such a way that will open up inner divination abilities.

There are a number of these classes available online for your convenience. It is only necessary that you follow their instructions carefully to get the full benefit of the class. You don't even have to leave the comfort of your home to achieve good results. These at-home, distance learning divination classes are very good for the beginner, as they are only a fraction of the price of an in-person, one-on-one mentorship.

There are divination techniques that take many years to master. The experts you will find online are available to hold your hand through all of the techniques and make sure you understand what is happening before finishing each lesson. Many people benefit from learning from another person. Not everyone is able to learn things on their own with the help of books and information. It sometimes takes the words and techniques of a real live person to learn something new, however, those books are a very good place to begin.

If you are very serious about learning divination techniques then it would be in your best interest to look for one of these in-person divination classes. Unfortunately, most places in the world have banned or at least restricted these courses, and as such, they are not available everywhere. If this is the case for you, then it is better to get a distance learning divination class and try that first. Find one that meets your needs and is the best that is available for the money. You won't be sorry once you learn the tips and techniques of the pros.

Spanish Class, On Line Lessons Can Help You Learn Fast

Ah....the wonderful world of the Spanish language. What a joy it is to finally develop a conversational knowledge of this festive language. The thrill of speaking to someone in Spanish and actually understanding them and them understanding you! A large proportion of the world speaks this beautiful language and learning it can open up new possibilities.

Short of flying to Puerto Rico or Columbia or Spain you can get quite good training in this language on line. This is a reasonable way to go for most people. You can even join the many and abundant Spanish speaking communities on line and practice the new words and phrases that you have been studying.

CNA CLASSES

Finding a good Spanish class on line is essential. You want to get the pronunciation right too. Often it is difficult to read a foreign word and know how to say it but this comes with practice and a little knowledge. Ideally some sort of interactional software or game can help a lot. Another idea is to learn a few Spanish language songs, and have the words translated into English which makes it easier to absorb certain phrases.

A friend of mine was learning Spanish and she committed to learning and understanding 10 new words a day. This took her about an hour a day. Within a few months she was doing quite well, and felt she could even at that early stage, get by on her knowledge. The key to this approach of course, is not forgetting yesterdays words, so practicing is also a priority.

Can I Refuse to Take a Breathalyzer Test?

When you are pulled over on suspicion of DUI, you may be asked to submit to a Breathalyzer test. The alcohol Breathalyzer test will measure the amount of alcohol in your blood stream. Most people have heard of the Breathalyzer, but there is a lot of confusion about what it does exactly and whether or not you should agree to take one.

In fact, you may not even know that you are allowed to refuse the Breathalyzer test. While you do not have to take the alcohol Breathalyzer, you may suffer some negative consequences by refusing the Breathalyzer.

CNA CLASSES IN RI

Before you are asked to give a Breathalyzer test, you will usually be asked to perform several field sobriety tests. You can and should refuse to submit to any field sobriety tests.

For some states, refusing a Breathalyzer test means that you go to jail, period. It can actually be considered a crime to refuse a Breathalyzer in some states. That means that refusing a Breathalyzer may cause you to serve more jail time than of you were only convicted for DUI. In addition, in some states when you refuse a Breathalyzer it is considered evidence that you think you are guilty. As you can see, there are some negative consequences of refusing a Breathalyzer.

While many people believe that Breathalyzer tests are highly scientific and irrefutable, in reality they are not 100% accurate. In fact, there have been arguments that the Breathalyzer, while very sensitive, yields results that are not specific enough. That means that while they will test positive for the alcohol in your blood, other chemicals may also cause positive results. If this happens your Breathalyzer results will be falsely elevated.

Breathalyzers can yield false positives from several medical conditions including diabetes, smoking and alcoholism. Inhaling other chemicals such as paint fumes can also lead to positive Breathalyzer results. As a result, your alcohol Breathalyzer test result may not be completely accurate.

Often a positive Breathalyzer result will lead to another test. Alcohol levels can also be determined from testing your urine or blood, not just from a Breathalyzer. These tests are more specific and are preferred as evidence in court over the Breathalyzer test results. These tests are used to confirm what was found in the alcohol Breathalyzer before proceeding with a conviction.

When you are asked to take a Breathalyzer test, you do have the right to refuse. However, you should think about the consequences of refusing. If you are in doubt about whether to take a Breathalyzer, you can always ask to speak with your attorney. At that point the police will end all testing, including the Breathalyzer. However, you will still be booked for the DUI. If you are confident that you are below the legal limit. You can take the Breathalyzer test and then you will be free to go on your way if you are below the legal limit.

How Makeup Classes Can Skyrocket Your Career as a Makeup Artist

If you've always dreamed of becoming a professional, well-paid makeup artist, you might be able to realize your dreams sooner than you think. Helping others look their best can be a rewarding career both emotionally and financially. But just like any other profession, getting the proper training is essential for success. Makeup classes can help in more ways than one.

Learn Makeup Application for All Occasions

CNA CLASSES

Perhaps you already know the basics of applying makeup, but that's not all you should know to become a professional makeup artist. Makeup courses can teach you to apply makeup for all different special occasions. Applying makeup for a bride before her wedding is different than makeup for a glamour shot. There are many occasions where the right type of makeup makes all the difference, such as ceremonies, award presentations, black tie events, informal dances, proms, and parties.

Makeup schools also teach you to apply makeup properly for certain needs such as a photo shoot for a model, a live performance by a speaker, politician, ballet dancer, opera singer, or musician, or even an acting session for an actor before entering the filming studio.

Makeup for the camera is often much different than everyday makeup applications, so it's wise to take some makeup lessons on these different methods.

Makeup Application for Different Skin Types

Another way in which makeup courses can help you develop your talents is they will teach you to apply makeup for a variety of skin types. Skin comes in different color shades, depending on the person's skin pigmentation. There is also oily skin, dry skin, and skin that falls somewhere in between. You'll need makeup lessons to learn about the skin types and what type of makeup should be applied to each individual's skin.

Knowing how to determine the colors of makeup is also important. You should consider the person's skin color, eye color, hair color, and the shape of their face to find the perfect color match. Depending on the type of makeup artist you will be, you might apply makeup to men as well. Mostly, this would be for photos or for the live camera.

Learn Other Makeup Techniques

Other makeup techniques you can learn by taking makeup classes include airbrush techniques, applying special effects makeup, applying makeup in salons or spas, working for cosmetic companies, and many others. You'll also learn to work with people and how to assess their needs before applying their makeup to get just the right match for their personality and skin type.

Makeup classes can help you develop your skills as a makeup artist while teaching you the many techniques necessary to become a well-paid professional. If you are unable to take an entire college course, which can take years to complete, then try a makeup workshop that provides a concentrated course on makeup during a limited amount of time. Some of the greatest makeup artists, the best makeup workshops, and the most career opportunities can be found in Hollywood.

You'll be helping others shine with gorgeous makeup in no time!

Indoor Cycling Class Routines - Top Five Classic Rock Songs For Cycling Classes

Are you participating in indoor cycling or spinning classes? Are you over the age of 35 or just a fan of classic rock? Here are five great classic rock songs that are perfect for your next class...

Indoor cycling classes, often called spinning classes, are becoming more and more popular group fitness options. Not only are they low impact, but they provide an excellent cardio workout in a fun, motivational setting.

CNA CLASSES

Of course, the music plays a big part in the enthusiasm level. Chances are, if you like the songs, you'll work harder and gain more benefit from the class. Most instructors have a programmed set list, but they are always agreeable to suggestions. And if you're not a techno or hip hop music fan, you'll be happy to know there are several tried and true classic rock stalwarts that are perfect for an indoor cycling routine.

In no particular order, here's our list of the top five classic rock songs for cycling classes:

"Crossroads" by Cream: The driving beat and brilliant musicianship of Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce, and Eric Clapton, collectively known as Cream, really vault this four minute classic into overdrive. Clapton's guitar solos at the 1:30 and 2:35 minute marks make ideal "push aheads". "Crossroads" is a perfect choice for the middle section of class when effort level is nearing its peak.

"Train Kept A' Rolling" by Aerosmith: Thumping bass guitar and a mid tempo beat make this song a great choice for a seated hill climb. Catch the beat with a moderate resistance level and your heart rate will surely be kept a' rolling.

"China Grove" by The Doobie Brothers: Everyone knows this Doobie Brothers song, so it's a good warm up choice to get everyone in the grove, err, groove. Lively, energetic, and long enough to really warm up the legs.

"Fire" by Jimi Hendrix: This Hendrix classic is perfect for sprints. The guitar solos and chorus sections are reasonably brief interludes for four sprints of almost equal duration.

"Do You Feel Like We Do" by Peter Frampton: The ultimate "Can I make it to the end of this song?" choice. The live marathon version can be used for a combination of standing and seated climbs, flat road work, and just about anything else for that matter. It's every bit of 14 minutes long, so it's a challenge for sure, but hey, who doesn't like to sing along with Frampton and that mouth harp?

So, for a welcome break from pop songs and techno, ask your instructor to slip in one of these classic rock standards into your next indoor cycling class routine. You'll be certain to feel young again!

Getting Official CNA Recognition

In most case, the appropriate authorities will put forth rules required for the CNA certification exam. Whatever the case, theory and practice will constitute the two major sections of the exam. Theory will include principles and procedures in taking care of the patient as well as protecting the privacy of the patient while practical will test your skills in taking care of patients when faced with a real life situation. Once in a while, you will have to act the part of a patient to help you have a better understanding of what it takes to provide real healthcare service. One thing you should know is that group work is necessary when going through preparatory test for the CNA exam.

cna

Also, you might want to use some video tutoring to help you go through your preparation. These matters much in what you are going to do ahead of taking the exam. In using practical work to prepare for your exam, you are attempting to assess the quality of the skills you have obtained in working either individually, or in assisting a doctor to make sure that only supreme healthcare services are provided to patients.

CNA

In a given situation, you may have to proof the worth of what you have studied through practical work on patients. This is the more reason why it is essential to work within a healthcare institution. Remember that you will have to face the challenges to taking care of patients with every situation requiring the attention of nursing assistants. However, your work will be limited with some specialist supervision.

It is important that you go through the entire courses needed to get ready for a CNA certification exam. One thing is clear - concentration on your studies as well as hard work is necessary to prepare for the exam. Research has shown that students who prepare for their CNA certification through the Red Cross curriculum find the CNA exam much easier.

Becoming CNA certified

There is only one route to the vocation of a qualified nursing assistant; and this is passing the CNA certification exam. There are divisions of this exam. The first part involves theory. Theory includes multiple choice questions relating to what you learned. Therefore, you should be prepared to answer questions relating to processes, patient safety as well as safeguarding the rights of patients. This will be followed by a practical session. You will be required to show proof of your skills while practicing like a nursing assistant. Keep in mind that at least three and at most five imperative skills will be tested. Therefore, remembering steps and procedures in healthcare practice will be required from you. This will range from simple visitation at a patient's home, to taking care of the patient as well as informing the patient about what is going on.

Make sure that your work is perfect. Although anxiety may cause you some errors, make sure that these do not relate to most of the essentially tested skills. Be calm. Do not be anxious if you fail your exam. Keep in mind that you will always be given the chance to take the exams again.

Renewing Your CNA Certification

It is always necessary to renew your CNA certification. Renewing your CNA certification will however depend on where you operate. In most cases, renewal is affected every two years. Before renewal, there is equally a necessity to make sure that your certification is active. This will require you to go through some formal education. You must attain a certain level of courses.

Always make sure that you renew your CNA certification before it is out of date. Automation through the internet has made this simple.

CNA Recertification

Given that modifications always come in the healthcare sector, you also have to move alongside such modifications. You may have to pass certain courses in order to recertify your CNA certification. But this will not be the same as taking a fresh CNA certification course. This can also be completed online.

One thing worth mentioning is that it is also imperative that you keep yourself posted on all your state's regulations governing CNA. Also ask you employer about any CNA regulation that you may not be aware of. Remember that such rules vary between states.

There is always a need of recertification if your CNA certification is out of date and if you fail to update it. This will further require you to undergo a test. The test you take will also depend on where you work. What you should know is that certain regulations may permit you to be certified again exclusive of going through tests.

The Vocation of a Qualified Nursing Assistant

Virtually, going trough some rigorous CNA certification training can be the basis of a good CNA career. Thus, the curriculum of the program you enroll yourself into should be interesting and relevant to the career of a qualified nursing assistant. Make sure that you pass the required exams. Make sure that your CNA certification is always current. Never fail to clarify your doubts from a nursing aid office closest to you.

Bankruptcy Classes

Bankruptcy is a legal process that requires you to be aware of the laws and procedures governing it. Filing for bankruptcy is a complicated and time consuming process. For this reason, it has now been made mandatory by the law for people to attend insolvency classes before setting out for the task.

Bankruptcy classes target the debtors but creditors can also attend to enlighten themselves on what to expect once their debtors have filed for insolvency. The classes are supposed to provide the debtor with insights into other available options to try out before filing a case. They are also meant to educate him about the five different chapters that they can file their case under and what is required under each.

CNA CLASSES

The debtor also needs to be counseled on the strengths and weaknesses of filing for insolvency. It is here that he needs to know how his image will be affected, how his relations with his creditors and other stakeholders may get affected, and how to get out of that whole scenario eventually. It is always said that the end of something is always better than its beginning.

Effective classes should handle topics on future finance management. This is because, once the storm of insolvency is over, people need to know how to take control of their money. They need to know not only how to make a budget, but also how to adhere to it to the letter. There is a life to live after the ugly phase of insolvency as you will soon find out in these classes.

Preparing to Play a Chanter Class in Aion Online

When Aion Online hits the store shelves in a week, it brings with it one of the more interesting sets of classes in an MMO yet and one of the most intriguing of those classes is the Chanter - a character that is a big of a healer/melee hybrid with a big staff and a whole lot of group buffs that make them incredibly important for a group in the Abyss.

Built out of the Priest Class, Chanters are one of the only classes with healing abilities, immediately making them very important for many groups and for any player who enjoys playing a healer. However, unlike clerics who are focused on spells alone, Chanters are fighters and do so with their staffs, hitting with multiple combos in the field. They wear chain armor and have a staff or shield and mace. Their damage output isn't quite on par with the DPS classes, but their utility in a group is second to none as their Mantras enhance the entire party's ability to combat their foes.

CNA CLASSES

The key to the damage dealt by a Chanter is that they can hit with not only damage dealing attacks (albeit, weaker ones), but they can debuff their opponents in many ways, reducing movement speed, attack rate, defense, and flight speed. Additionally, a staff will make it possible to knock your enemy to the ground.

Of course, those offensive abilities are all back seat to the support role that a good Chanter will play in most groups. They can buff almost every class, including melee and caster damage, magical and physical defense, and run speed. Mantras are also useful because they will allow players to benefit while in a certain radius of the Chanter.

Finally, there are the healing spells which include both Direct heals and HoTs. The direct heals are not quite as strong as the Cleric heals, but they make strong backup healers by using their HoTs to support a group in many ways.

A good Chanter is one of the most effective and useful members of a group. If you're building a guild or just like to play a dynamic healing, support class, this is one class you should keep in mind.

Physician's Office Nursing Jobs

Physician's office nursing jobs are some of the most desirable for a lot of trained nursing professionals. They offer a lot of pluses that are not available in the world of hospital nursing jobs. Is this type of nursing position for you? Although these jobs aren't for everyone, they might just be perfect for your lifestyle and personality. Find out if this is the route you should take and what cons to expect if you do.

One of the biggest pluses to physician's office nursing jobs is the hours. Most doctors' offices keep regular business hours, which usually means 9am-5pm on weekdays with weekends and holidays off. True, some offices may choose to keep longer hours to suit patients and even offer some Saturday hours, but compared to the 24-hour schedule, 365 days a year in a hospital setting, these hours are generally more desirable.

CNA CLASSES IN RI

Another major plus to physician's office nursing jobs is the shift length. Most hospital nurses will be given some pretty wacky schedules with some even being required to work 12-16 hours straight. Others will be required to work 7 days straight, with the following 7 days off. Either way, most people can't argue that standard office hours are a little more convenient. You'll probably also be required to work nights at some point and at least when you first start at a hospital you'll be scheduled to work holidays. Office nurses on the other hand will most likely not be working much more than 8 hours in a shift, because the office simply won't be open longer than that. And most office nurses will have weekends and holidays off.

Some of the less desirable aspects of physician's office nursing jobs include lower pay and the fact that it will probably be harder to find a job in the first place. Hospital nurses are compensated for their long hours and bad schedules with a higher starting salary than most doctors' offices will offer. It is also quite easy to get a hospital nurses job once you have completed your education and certification, because these jobs are in high demand. But if you are willing to put in the job search time and take a lower starting salary, you just might be happier with a physician's office nursing job, than with any other job you could get.

CNA Training in Preventing Nursing Home Negligence

Ensuring that nursing home residents are properly cared for is of the utmost importance. Preventing accidents and undue harm to residents is one of the main goals in caring for individuals in a continuing care environment. During CNA training the prevention of accidents is taught thoroughly during the clinical section of the course. Avoiding possible injury that can result in charges of nursing home negligence is extremely important for a certified nursing assistant.

cna

Nursing home negligence usually occurs when a trained qualified professional such as a doctor, nurse or nurse's aide fails to provide the necessary care for a patient in a nursing home environment. Neglect can be prevented which is why it is such a problem when discovered. Medical professionals are trained to provide high levels of care depending on the level of their training. With a certified nursing assistant some forms of neglect could include failure to feed a patient resulting in malnourishment, infections of the skin as a result of improper bathing, the occurrence of severe bedsores as a result of not turning a patient on a regular schedule and failing to maintain a sanitary environment by changing bed pans routinely. These are unfortunate circumstances that can definitely be prevented. No patient should have to become ill or suffer because a certified nursing assistant fails to do his or her job. Choosing to work as a certified nursing assistant affirms that you are committed to performing certain duties each and everyday. This kind of negligence can be prevented by taking your job seriously and being as thorough as possible in performing your functions as a CNA.

CNA

Negligence is not only harmful to the patient but it can have a devastating impact on your record as a nurse's aid. Since your job is to provide the basic care for the elderly and the disabled within a continuing care environment, your failure to do so shows that you are not practicing your profession at the highest level. At the worst, you could have charges filed against you by relatives of the affected patient or by the state on behalf of the individual. The nursing home could lose its license because of negligence and to prevent this they will fire you to prevent this from happening. Finding employment after losing one's job as a certified nursing assistant because of neglect can be extremely difficult. In extreme cases your certification could be revoked ending your career.

If you've taken your certified nursing assistant training seriously and show dedication to performing your job, you can prevent the unfortunate circumstances related to nursing home negligence.

A Guide to the Aion Assassin Class

In Aion, you can choose to start a character as a Scout and then when you get your wings at Level 10 transform her into an Assassin. The Assassin of course specializes in killing - one enemy at a time and by using stealth and guile in order to do so. Assassins follow the Star of Death. Elysean Assassins typically follow Vaizel, the Lord of Free Souls, even as Asmodian Assassins typically follow Triniel, the Queen of Death.

Assassins take their share of criticism from others who "fight nobly" and who don't kill by sneaking up on enemies from out of the shadows or by using "ignoble" weapons such as poisons. But Assassins serve a vital role--taking out strong, pernicious enemies who are a thorn in their allies' sides. Disruption and infiltration on the battlefield are also highly useful tactical skills which the Assassin is supreme master of.

CNA CLASSES

Assassins can weaken their enemies with poisons, stun methods such as explosives, and other vicious but subtle skills and weapons. They are also the best character at evading an attack with their amazing acrobatic skills and speed, and then they can counter-strike with insidiously deadly and accurate force through the same traits. In fact, this character can hide not only in the shadows but even in plain sight--meaning she is the best character for striking first and striking often without any warning.

Assassins use their speciality of Pattern Engraving as well as bow & arrow, dagger, and sword as their weaponry--although they don't really excel at the bow & arrow. They usually just wear leather armor so that they have the most possible freedom of movement. However, this means that when a Assassin does take a blow, she loses a lot of health rapidly.

Solo fighting Assassins live by the saying that the best defense is a great offense. The Assassin is always looking to strike first and to hit an enemy in its most vulnerable place. The evasiveness of this character cannot be overestimated - and it is a trait that permits this character to quickly and easily get behind an enemy and inflict severe damage before he even turns around.

But the Assassin is not very resilient once hit, and thus must avoid taking on too many enemies at once. In fact, this character really should only fight one-on-one whenever possible. Within groups, the best role for this character to take on is that of disruption of the enemy and targeting the strongest individual enemy for Assassination. Once an Assassin strikes she will quickly draw much attention to herself, so she has to be ready to hit and run.

If you are someone who loves stealth and acrobatics, try being an Aion Assassin.

Considering Becoming a CNA? Why Not Let Red Cross CNA Training Classes Help You On Your Way

In order to become certified and start working as a certified nursing assistant or aide (CNA), CNA training classes are usually required and if looking for a reputable organization, the Red Cross CNA training classes are perfect. Not only will you be on your way to certification in a short period of time but you will obtain this training from the Red Cross and become highly sought by employers due to training with this reputable organization.

cna

Red Cross CNA Training classes are offered at many chapters countrywide in as many as 36 states that last on average about four weeks.

CNA

Why Decide to Become A CNA

The healthcare field is always in great need of nursing assistants which means that even when the country is going through a recession as in the current period, there will always be a high demand for nursing assistants when other jobs are being eliminated and people losing their jobs.

CNAs usually spend the most time with patients and usually fulfill many of the patient basic needs including feeding, bathing, changing bed linens, grooming, lifting, escorting to various locations of the care facility, etc. With people living longer than in the past based on various research studies, this will lead to greater healthcare costs, greater need for nursing homes, etc, which means that the need for CNAs is going to continue to increase at a greater rate than in most other jobs.

CNA training classes in addition to the Red Cross CNA training classes will teach the fundamentals of the profession to ensure that you become adept at performing the various tasks required. Beyond this, in order to truly succeed in this profession, an individual needs to have compassion, patience, have a need to serve those in need, be tactful, kind, successfully work as part of a team, etc. If you are such an individual, you may want to consider taking Red Cross CNA training classes to help you successfully tackle the certification exam and become a CNA.

You may also want to use becoming a CNA as a building block for further training in various other professions in the healthcare field. Since the training only lasts a few weeks before you start working at little to no expense, it will allow you to start experiencing the machinations of the healthcare field and decide whether you would like to commit more time to the further training required for other jobs in the healthcare field such as becoming a nurse.

Red Cross CNA Training Classes

The Red Cross is well known for providing high caliber nursing personnel and has built up this reputation for over a century. In addition, the Red Cross has spent the past two decades trying to build up a reputation for providing trained nursing assistants through its many Red Cross training classes available in many states.

Students who graduate from these chapters are highly sought after by employers due to the good reputation of this organization. Another reason to choose the Red Cross CNA training classes is that the state guidelines for suitable training vary from one state to state and each chapter that has these classes adheres to not only the state guidelines but also the federal guidelines for the training of nursing assistants.

The classes are usually taught by Registered Nurses with help from other nursing professionals and the classes feature state of the art equipment to help students learn the proper way to accomplish the various duties and responsibilities required on nursing assistants at hospitals, nursing homes, etc.

Some of the equipment contained in these classes includes wheelchairs, hospital beds, bed pans, mannequins, a patient lifting tool, etc, for student practice sessions. The curriculum covered comprises textbook work, practice sessions as well as clinicals where the students will get to practice all that they have learned in a hospital or nursing home with real patients.

It is important to note that the pass rate for students who took Red Cross CNA training classes and sat for the certification exam is much higher than the pass rate for students who took these classes at various other organizations. In addition, some local chapters help their graduates find employment. The employment rate of graduates of the training classes at the Red Cross is also much higher than graduates of other organizations.

While you may be able to find free CNA training classes, Red Cross CNA training classes which are certainly much more valuable and more prestigious than free CNA training classes, are not available for free. The cost varies from one chapter to the next and usually varies from about 0 to ,000. The chapter in Calhoun, Georgia costs about 0 while another in San Bernardino, California costs about ,900 with the rest of the chapters across the nation falling somewhere in between.

Normal IQ Scores - Find Out What Your IQ Says About You

IQ, which stands for intelligence quotient, is a formal measure of intelligence. While many may debate the accuracy of an IQ test, it is a conventional measurement of how intelligent you are based on the IQ scale. While it is not set in stone, the average IQ is around 100, so 95 or 106 are normal IQ scores you would expect from an someone of average intelligence.

It would be easy to judge someone with a low IQ as unintelligent, but IQ is just a number and standard IQ tests don't measure skills or abilities, just intelligence. In many cases leadership ability would be a whole lot more useful than a genius level IQ score, so it would be un-wise to base your impression of someone on their IQ alone.

CNA CLASSES IN RI

In the professional and competitive world of work and full-time careers, a half-decent IQ can make a huge difference, but then again so would the ability to interact well with people, or being a good leader. In certain professions, particularly those dealing with economics and mathematics such as banking or being a stock broker, IQ is what helps you make connections and solve complicated equations. Other professions like those involving public speaking do not demand a high IQ, but rather the practical skills to talk and negotiate in a professional manner.

I hope that I have shown how your IQ is important but also how other skills are important too. Striking the right balance is the key, so if you are not happy with your IQ, there really is no reason to worry too much about it.

The History Of HMX -1

HMX-1 is the United States Marine Corps Squadron designated to provide helicopter transport to the White House for the President, Vice-President, Cabinet Members, VIP's and other dignitaries.

Located at Marine Corps Base (MCB) Quantico in Northern Virginia, HMX -1 is the largest squadron in the Marine Corps. It has tasking in three primary areas and therefore has commitments and fulfills roles that other squadrons don't.

CNA CLASSES IN RI

In addition to Presidential transport, HMX-1 is the only squadron in the Marine Corps that performs Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) of helicopter systems for the Fleet Marine Force (FMF). This means that the pilots and engineers at Quantico determine if existing and new systems work as per their design specifications and then determine the best way to employ these systems.

HMX-1 also has a third function. The squadron supports the Marine Corps Combat Development Command (MCCDC) at Quantico. The MCCDC is responsible for developing and implementing helicopter tactics and providing helicopter support for training evolutions at the base.

HMX-1 was the first helicopter squadron established by the Marine Corps. It was formed after Marine General Roy Geiger witnessed the atomic test detonation at Bikini atoll. General Geiger theorized that future amphibious landings could be jeopardized by the atomic bomb and a method was needed to diffuse troops, which avoided the loss of an entire concentrated force because of an atomic blast. The Commandant of the time, General Alexander A. Vandergrift convened the Hogeboom board to study the problem and recommend solutions. The board recommended the development and use of helicopters to mitigate the threat.

HVX-1 was commissioned in December 1947. The decision to base the squadron in Quantico was a result of wanting to be close to the two helicopter manufacturers that the Corps used, Sikorsky and Piasecki and to be near the Marine Corps Schools at Quantico where most of the squadron personnel would come from.

The first helicopters assigned to HMX-1 were the Sikorsky HO3S-1 and the Piasecki HRP-1. During its first amphibious helicopter evaluation exercise, 5 HMX-1 helicopters flew 66 marines from the USS Palau (an escort carrier commissioned in 1946) to MCB Camp Lejeune on the coast of North Carolina.

The first presidential helicopter flight, though not scheduled, occurred in 1957. On board was President Dwight D. Eisenhower who previously had been at his summer home in Rhode Island when his presence was needed at the White House. The ferry ride from his home across Narragansett Bay would take an hour followed by a flight on Air Force One to Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland then a 20-minute car ride from Andrews to the White House. President Eisenhower's aide learned that a helicopter used for emergency purposes was stationed at Rhode Island and would be available to make the seven-minute flight across the bay to Air Force One. That flight in a HMX-1 Sikorsky H-34 Seahorse began a tradition that now includes the VH-71A Kestrel.

HMX-1 then determined if it was possible to land a helicopter on the south lawn of the White House. After some test flights, HVX-1 began to airlift the President to and from the south lawn of the White House.

For Presidential missions HVX-1 currently flies VH-3D and VH-60N aircraft. The squadron is transitioning to the new VH-71 A Kestrel built by Lockheed Martin under contract from AgustaWestland.

Free CNA Training Classes

In Oklahoma, nursing abuse fines are funding free CNA training classes, expected to begin in 2010. The free program was organized when the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH), in cooperation with Tulsa Community College and Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education established a fund of 1,000 that will cover the cost of training approximately 900-1,000 CNA students in 2010.

cna

The money to provide free training classes comes from penalties collected from nursing homes that were fined by OSDH for delivering substandard care, i.e. nursing abuse. It is possible that Certified Nursing Assistants from these very same nursing homes will be turn out to be beneficiaries of the scholarship, which has aims of improving overall patient care in long-term care facilities. The core of the free CNA program is to upgrade the skills and knowledge of nursing assistants to a level CNA 2. Tulsa Community College also offers more advanced training for those nursing assistants who wish to advance to the CNA 3 level, but this level is not currently funded.

CNA

To fund the program, the OSDH is using civil monetary penalties collected by the agency from nursing homes that were fined for delivering substandard care. CNAs who work with long-term care patients in nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities are eligible to apply for the OSDH-funded training. The aim of the program is to serve as a career ladder for working CNAs - appropriately named the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Career Ladder Program. The new course blends online learning with traditional classroom and lab work geared towards passing a CNA skills test. All students must have already completed online coursework and have reliable computer access in order to participate in this program.

All applicants to the program must be already accepted to Tulsa Community College. However, admission to the college does not guarantee admission into the free CNA training program, nor a guarantee of funding. Early application is encouraged, as funding and space is limited. In order to be eligible for funding consideration, all applicants must take and pass the College Placement Test (Reading and Sentence Skills only). The minimum score that an applicant must achieve is 80. Additionally, all applicants are expected to have completed a minimum of 12 college credit hours, with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Additionally, all applicants must have worked in a health care facility for a minimum of six months. All applications must include a letter of recommendation from their administrator.

The free CNA training classes consist of 30 hours, comprising of 11 modules, each three hours long. The five full days of training will focus on safety, teamwork, aging and illness, communication, nutrition, quality of life, dementia care, the importance of family, culture change and restorative care, spirituality, and dying. Students will then need to take and pass the state exam to receive their CNA certification.

Within the state of Oklahoma, there are approximately 66,000 individuals on the CNA Registry certified or entitled to renew their licenses as long-term care aides. Most of the 66,000 are considered potentially eligible to apply to this free CNA program. Therefore, the competition is potentially very high, since only 900-1,000 students will be funded in 2010. If accepted, students will be notified by mail, which will also include information and instructions about immunization requirements, a criminal background check, and a drug screening test. To be sure, applicants will be scrutinized for prior citations or suspicion of nursing abuse.

In addition to Oklahoma's program, there are other free CNA training classes, some of which are available online -- also funded by the nursing abuse settlements. Be certain to check whether the training programs are specifically designed as preparation to take the CNA exam, or for general informational purposes.

Exploring Priest Classes in Aion - The Cleric

In the game of Aion, once your Priest reaches Level 10 and gets her wings, you can transform her into a Cleric. Clerics are Daevas who follow the Star of Healing. Clerics have the magical power of healing, and their healing powers are so great that they can even bring a Daeva back to life if they have their soul separated from their body. Clerics are also very effective in melee combat as they are quite skilled at using Mace and Shield. Elysean clerics follow the ways of Yustiel, the Lord of Life. Asmodian clerics are in the service of Marchutan, the Lord of Destiny.

In addition to their amazingly powerful healing abilities, Clerics can cast ranged spells for damaging or weakening enemies while also using magic to buff themselves and their allies. But their specialty is protection and healing of their allies, making them the magical counterpart to the Templar warriors. Any group that wishes to be highly successful absolutely must have a Cleric, aka a "Walking Potion", in its midst.

CNA CLASSES

Clerics have to be wise with their powers, though. They only have so much mana and the last thing that any group needs is for them to run out of it. This character starts off only armored in leather and cloth, but she can put on the Chain Mail. If she does this, her powers of defensive protection are indeed second only to those of the Templar among all characters and classes. Clerics are also like the spiritual counterparts to Rangers, for their damaging abilities are mostly a handful of ranged spells that can cause server harm before they arrive on the scene with their deadly Mace swinging out the death blows.

The Cleric is really intended to be part of a group and is probably the least effective character at going solo. However, Clerics can do very well alone because they can heal themselves so robustly and because its possible for those attacking a Cleric to end up dead before they can even get to her thanks to those ranged magical Attack weapons. The skilled Cleric knows how to make efficient use of the recovery and the attack skill set, however, for once again mana is limited.

In the group of allies, the Cleric is the center of healing and strengthening as well as a powerful force for enemy restraint and damage from a distance. If the need ever arises and the mana pool is there, the Cleric can bring an ally back from the brink of death--or even resurrect him. But she can also be healing allies slowly but steadily the whole time with spells that use less mana.

If you consider yourself someone who enjoys playing healing roles, the Cleric of Aion is for you.

CNA Certification Requirements - Do You Meet Them?

Becoming a certified nursing assistant or CNA is one of the easiest and fastest way out of the pool of unemployed people. Many people are looking at becoming a CNA due to the attraction of higher pay package. Understandably all this has resulted in a situation where a lot more people compared to last year are looking for information about CNA Certification.

cna

Unfortunately the information available about the CNA Certification test has not been able to keep pace with this increase in interest. A lot of people have been disappointed to find that they are not eligible for CNA Training after spending hours searching for the information.

CNA

Another less reported fact is that many people, without the right temperament, are joining CNA Training classes. Please remember that being a CNA is as much about your attitude as it is about your skill.

What are the requirements of CNA Certification

Most states require that you join CNA Classes before you can be eligible for appearing in the test. Please ensure that the class that you are joining has the required approvals in place. You need to attend a minimum of 75 hours of training to be eligible for CNA Certification test. This includes the time spent in both the theory classes and that spent in practical classes. If you have joined an online training class then you shall need to arrange for practical session in one of your local hospitals. At the end of the class, you shall be required to appear in a test. The test consists of 2 parts. The first part is a written examination. Its objective is to find out if you have learnt your lessons in the classroom or not. Do not worry about this examination if you have been sincere during the classes and if you have gone through the lessons properly. Otherwise you will do good to get hold of a number of sample question papers and question papers of previous examinations. The second part of the examination is a practical examination. In this examination they will try to find out if you are able to execute your duties as a CNA properly or not. Please note that you may be required to carry another person with you to act as your patient during this examination. Please remember that they will be judging your attitude towards patients as well. Please behave with dignity to your patient. Do not get irritated even if he/she behaves in a stupid manner. After passing the above examination, you shall need to register yourself with the state registry to get your CNA Certification.

Once you have obtained the Certification, you are all set to start looking for a CNA job.

What Exactly is Perioperative Nursing?

Perioperative Nursing is focused upon the perioperative experience, which plays a vital role in the lives of individual patients, families, nurses and additional members of the health care team.

Nurses themselves are registered nurses (RNs) that have had at least one years previous experience in a health care field. PNs (Perioperative Nurses for short) must graduate a one year course to earn their Perioperative degree. This is a must to work in most surgical departments across North America and some parts of the EU (European Union). This one year degree (or masters) helps PN's earn as much as - more per hour, with more specialized and focused labour.

Each step is examined, right from the start of, including pre-surgical prep all the way up to post-surgical care. The PN's standards require them to lay down the health care groundwork, technological knowhow and the expertise to help each individual patients needs & wants.

Online MBA Accreditation

School accreditation is the most important factor to consider when deciding on an online MBA program. Proper accreditation could mean the difference between an online MBA degree that gets you a promotion and a degree that isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

Somebody can make up a fake accrediting action, and many diploma mills will have of accreditation from organizations that sound professional. However, not every accrediting action gets regard in the existent world. There are three modes of accreditation agencies that are necessaries to consider when earning an MBA online: regional accreditation, professional accreditation, and separate erudition accreditation.

CNA CLASSES IN RI

Regional Accreditation

Regional accreditation is the most usually accepted mode of accreditation.

If you want your online MBA to be recognized by hope employers, you'll want to make confident to join in a school that has regional accreditation. There are six regional accrediting agencies that exclude this recognition. While your MBA lessons will be seized online, the school itself should be accredited by one of the six agencies:

Core States Commission on superior learning: Delaware, borough of Columbia, Maryland, New pullover, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands

New England Association of Colleges and Schools: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont

North inner Association of Colleges and Schools: Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming

Northwest Association of Accredited Schools: Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington

Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia

Western Association of Schools and Colleges: California, Hawaii, the peaceful washbasin

Professional Accreditation

The Association to develop Collegiate Schools of affair (AACSB) excludes accreditation to MBA and other matter programs. AACSB is a well-established, regarded accrediting action that is trusted by many employers in the take of matter.

Graduating from an online MBA program that is accredited by the AACSB may give your resume a mega boost. Some employers may be more prone to hire you because of your schools accreditation. However, AACSB accreditation is not necessaries. If your alma mater is regionally accredited, most employers will still be agreeable to hire you.

Coldness erudition Accreditation

The coldness learning and guidance assembly (DETC) is the principal accrediting action to focus only on separate erudition colleges. The meeting is upward in regard and recognition; however its accreditation is still the slightest influential. If you're online MBA program is accredited by the proper regional action or by the AACSB, don't concern about separate erudition accreditation.

An online MBA degree that is only accredited by the DETC is better than a degree that has no accreditation at all. However, your DETC-accredited degree may not be entirely recognized by other universities and hope employers.

In a Nutshell

Accreditation can be puzzling. As you pursuit for the best online MBA program, here are the basics you'll necessary to memorize:

1. Regional accreditation is your best bet.

2. AACSB accreditation will make your online MBA position out.

3. DETC accreditation may not be accepted everywhere.

4. Any other mode of accreditation will not be as important as the three scheduled above.
