Cheap and Free CNA Training

Courses for CNA training can be very expensive but there are cheaper alternatives that are just as good. First of all, check your local community college for any training, this may be obvious but there are many cheap courses there. The college must be an approved college or you could be paying out for a qualification that isn't going to get you anywhere as a CNA nurse. This shouldn't be too hard to obtain from the college, so I recommend that you do this first. You won't be able to test or trial any courses before you start and that means payment is up front. This may not necessarily be a lump sum but may be in the form of installments.

If you are looking for cheap CNA training then you have come to the right place, the American Red Cross offers very affordable training. To qualify for this programme you will need to contact your local chapter and they will help sort this out. The nursing programme on offer will last for around five weeks and requires multiple characteristics such as confidence, dedication, self belief and commitment. Make sure that the course you are on is state approved and at the end of the day you will get certificate that is recognised in the nursing industry. All courses should be taught by state approved nurses.

Here is the part you have been waiting for, the FREE training. Yes there are in fact free training courses for CNA nurses, these will usually take places at nursing homes. There is always a catch though, in turn for the free training you must work for them for free. Both clinical and classroom training is performed on location and you could be fully qualified in a year. Of course this may not be the best option for you considering you will need to have another job to earn money to live. This may seem scary but on the job training can be a great way to qualify and from the start you are exposed to real life patients. The most efficient way to get involved and sign up with a nursing home is to phone them up and see if they have any openings.
