CNA Resume Samples

You might be hoping to find CNA resume samples if you are applying for a job as a CNA. There is a lot of information that should be included on your resume. You will want to include your basic information,. educational history, work history, objectives and references. In some cases you might also want to provide information on volunteer work you have completed.

cna

A resume can be prepared to list your basic information, work history and educational history. Some websites highlight the skill you have and some of the duties you have completed rather than listing each specific job in a history format. You should still list the employer for whom you completed these duties.

Some resumes are also driven around your career objective. You would write an objective and provide your background to show how you have already started working for your objective. Your resume would be designed to show how your new job would help you to reach these objectives.

Your Microsoft Office or similar computer program will often offer resume wizards. These wizards can help you to set up a great looking resume. They often have examples of good resumes for you to view to help get you started with your own resume. You will be able to prepare a professional resume that will aid you well in helping you to prepare a CNA resume.

Search online for resume examples. They are not too difficult to find. You could even search specifically for CNA resume samples. If you are not able to find samples specific to nursing assistants, you might find some for other healthcare jobs. You can look over these resumes to help provide you with ideas for your own resume. It is worth taking the time to review some of these samples.

If you are still enrolled in a CNA training program, you can ask your instructor for some help. He or she might be able to help you to prepare your resume for use after you receive your certification. They might even have example of resumes for you to use as a guide and for some inspiration when creating your own.

Look at CNA Training websites. Some of these websites will provide sample resumes. They will also provide tips to help you prepare your resume. Other tips might also be found to help you write a cover letter and even to help you interview for a certified nursing assistant job.

Take your time when preparing a resume. This will be the first impression you make on a prospective employer. Have a nice layout for the resume and make sure that you spell everything correctly. Do not have a resume with missing details or information.

Resume For CNA - CNA Resume Techniques That Will Get You Hired

It does not matter if you have just recently received your certification as a nursing assistant, or if you have been working in the healthcare field for more than a decade. There is nothing that is as likely to get you hired as soon as possible than an excellent, well-written resume that properly showcases your strengths and convinces future employers to take their chances at you and ask you for an interview.

When writing CNA resumes, remember to keep the following things in mind.

CNA

Put your name at the top, and your contact details immediately after. You want to make sure that once a future employer makes the decision to call you in for an interview, they would not have to waste their time looking for ways to reach you. Include your full name, your telephone number, your email address and your current home address. Be careful about writing down your email address! Use a professional sounding one-your cutesy high school email address will only put you off employers' lists.

Next, spend some time writing a well-thought out objective. Show future employers that aside from knowing what your goals, you are also the perfect fit for their company.

Also remember to list all the places where you have received your training and your certifications. The more places, the better, but be careful to write down only the most relevant details. If it looks like you are only trying to pad up a weak resume, you can probably say goodbye to that job offer.

List all the places you have previously worked in. If there are not any yet, you can also rely on nonprofit and volunteer organizations where you may have devoted some of your healthcare skills. Highlight your skills, and highlight the traits that you believe will make you an excellent certified nursing assistant.

Have some references in handy. It depends entirely on you whether you want to immediately include someone who can speak out for you, or if you want to make your references a little more confidential by making them available upon request. Just be sure that you have someone in mind already, so you are not surprised if someone does ask for them.

Finally, do not forget to revise! Writing CNA resumes may seem easy, but if you keep letting grammatical mistakes, you probably would not be receiving as many offers for those elusive job interviews.

CNA Job Description for Resume

Whether you are planning to look for work as a Certified Nursing Assistant with a new employer, applying to college to continue your education, or hoping to enter a new career field, your experience as a CNA is a valuable commodity. In order to help potential employers or schools understand the duties you perform as a CNA, it is important to be able to describe your job accurately as part of a resume. While you will need to enter specific details about your position, the following are a few guidelines that can help you create a Certified Nursing Assistant job description for your resume or application:

cna

1. Begin by describing the education and licensing requirements necessary to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. Include any additional training you have had, particularly training in specialized skills that will be valuable to a potential employer. If you are applying for a job that is not in the health care field, emphasize skills such as CPR and First Aid that will be useful in any situation.

2. Give a chronological list of all experience you have working as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Your employer will use this as a way to verify your work history, so be sure to include contact information such as phone numbers and names of past supervisors who can verify your employment.

3. Describe what the duties and responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant are. Remember; don't use abbreviations or jargon that may not be understood by your next employer or a Human Resources office. Be thorough and honest about what duties you were responsible for performing at your CNA job. This will ensure that you are able to offer your potential employer all the skills that they read on your resume.

4. For each position, list the salary you earned at that job. If you received raises, make sure to note that you earned one wage when you started and higher one when you left. This will show your potential employer that your company recognized your value. For a school application, you do not need to complete this step.

5. List any achievements, awards, or other recognition you have earned. Your employer will be most interested in recognition relating to your job, but be sure to list other awards as well. For example, if you received special recognition for providing CPR to a person who was injured in a traffic accident, that can be a demonstration of your quick thinking and mastery of CNA skills. However, if you received an award from a service organization for which you volunteer time, a potential employer will see that as your commitment to community and team work. This type of information is particularly valuable on school entrance admission resumes.

Completing your CNA Resume is a good way for you to realize the value of your work. By taking the time to write down all of the duties you perform, you may be able to get a better understanding of where you would like your career to go. If you are still having trouble with your resume, look online for templates that will show you how to format your resume. You can also find examples of CNA resumes with job descriptions that you can use to help you create your resume.
